"i'm ella and i use my voice to sing and even do something called scat. ever since i was a little baby elephant my mommy says that i would sing all day and all night. now i get to sing with the baby loves jazz band and i love it. it makes me happy. my favorite jazz singers are billie holiday, sarah vaughan, cassandra wilson, and of course, the lady that my sister named me after - ella fitzgerald. i love being an elephant. my favorite color is pink and my favorite food is peanuts."
